Hello Ghana! Hope City Church has begun in Accra! These are exciting times we live in and there’s never been a better time to live in Accra than right now! They are exciting because we face a future filled with the goodness of God. Not only that, but to all who believe God, his promises now fill the air around us and give us hope to stay connected to him like never before.

Hope City Church has come to Ghana to help connect you to your God-given destiny of firstly an authentic, genuine relationship with Him and then, equipping you to best use all the amazing gifts and talents packed into you by God, so you can help us win others too. No one invited us but we’re a little cheeky that way... Here is a little more about who we are...
WHY ARE WE HERE?
Since 2008 Hope City Church has partnered with Compassion International by sponsoring children in some of the poorest parts of Ghana. Our church currently sponsors around 150 children in the area of Agona Kwanyako and Mankrong and our vision is to raise that sponsorship to 600 children by 2012 and to one day include the provision of much needed health care, education and other infrastructure improvements.
In November 2008 Rev Andy went out to visit these Compassion Projects, to see and hear from the people living there about life in Ghana and to find out how we could help impact the lives of those communities. A second visit by Andy and a great Hope City team, in August 2009 was the perfect opportunity to plan a huge holiday club, bringing the love of God and care to these same children and building an exciting timber-framed adventure playground for all the children to use.
At the heart of Hope City Church it longs to do more than just make a few visits each year to this beautiful nation though. We are here to establish a large, influential church, right here in Accra that is a vibrant part of the greater family of Hope City Church across the world. Hope city church is one church in 6 great cities, five in the UK and now 1 in Africa.
