Welcome to Hope City Church, Liverpool
Goodbye
Black-e, hello Megacentre!
From
the beginning of June we wave goodbye to the Black-e and go home to the
Megacentre for our 11am Family Services . They are packed with passionate
praise, powerful wisdom from the Word of God - the Bible - and creative
flair - you'll love them! There is loads for the kids too, with a supervised
crèche for the 0-4s and the fun and craziness of Whizz Kids for the 5-10s. So why
not come along and try it out!
As
God brings us to the end of one action-packed and fun-filled chapter, the pages
of the next lie open, waiting for us the church to fill in the blanks. You are
significant. Your life counts. You matter to God. That’s why He has equipped
and energised you to live with heaven’s purpose and reach out to the people in your
world. As each one of us plays our part we will continue to expand the borders
of our influence and the size of our impact in the City in ways we haven’t even
imagined.
Also this is the month that you can nominate a friend, work
colleague or family member for a prestigious award at Liverpool’s Night of
Honour 2011. This glitzy feel-good extravaganza will be held on Friday 2
December at the Black-e and is sponsored by the PCT and 2020 Decade of Health
& Wellbeing. Liverpool’s Night of Honour looks to celebrate the unsung
heroes of our city who live extraordinary lives to make Liverpool such a
brilliant place to live. So whether it’s your neighbour who is always willing
to help, the colleague who brightens up your work place or a teacher who has
inspired your child, you can nominate someone online by going to www.nightofhonour.org.uk/liverpool.php.
So
let’s make the most of this brand new opportunity to bring heaven to earth and believe
that right now God is up to stuff He wants us in on.
We
are all set for a brilliant summer sizzler and we can’t wait.
See
you soon
