Reverends Andy and Karen Gorman
From small beginnings Andy & Karen started as Youth Pastors in Sheffield and then pioneered Hope City Church in Liverpool, UK. Leading it for six years they have seen the church grow and establish a great community centre, the Liverpool Megacentre and are now totally committed and completely enthusiastic about what God has planned for the city of Accra. They have two young daughters, Amy and Eden.
Richard Chambers - Worship Director
Richard Has been a core part of Hope City’s Liverpool congregation for a couple of years now and as a qualified Engineer he led building team that created and built the amazing timber framed adventure playground at the Compassion Project in Agona Kwanyako when he visited Ghana last year. He loved Ghana so much and really felt God had more things in store here in Ghana so he’s back for more. Richard is passionate about music and worshiping God and loves the incredible music culture of the city. He is fully committed to raising an amazing worship team as directs the praise and worship in the congregation.
Jenny Angus - Children’s Director
Jenny comes from Hope City’s Sheffield congregation and after completing two years at the Leadership Academy she has worked within many of Hope City’s ministries for a number of years. Jenny is Accra’s Children’s Pastor and is especially excited about meeting and getting to know the children and families of Accra. She loves travelling and learning different languages, and is keen to learn all about the Ghanaian culture.
Rebecca Osborne - Youth Director
Rebecca was born and bred in Sheffield, UK and has been a part of Hope City Church for over eight years serving on many different teams in our Sheffield congregation. Having graduated from two years on the Leadership Academy she jumped at the opportunity to be a part of the Hope City Accra team and joined them in September 2010 from the Official Launch weekend. She is passionate about the youth of Accra and empowering them to make great choices and living out the life God first intended for them.
She is also a technical whizz with buttons and all things electrical so is a great adition ot the Production Team on Sundays!
